Chaostle

- Chaostle
- Melee Expansion
Variants
These variants serve to bring a bit more balance to gameplay and speed it up a great deal. At least 1d10 (one 10 sided die) will be required to use these variants.

Player Aids

We have created a couple different player aid items for Chaostle. The first is just printer-friendly versions of the HAPPINESS and DOOM references.

The second is our approach to character skill reference labels. These stickers are designed to be printed to full-sheet 8.5" x 11" label paper, cut out, and adhered to the backs of your character cards, as seen here. These labels allow players to reference their characters' special skills without having to look them up in the rulebook(s).

Insert
Common Insert Design Goals
For each insert we create, we have a few "common design goals". They are:
- Reduce setup time as much as possible
- Have separate component trays for "setup components" and "gameplay components"
- Allow for vertical box storage without components crushing each other
- Fit sleeved cards
Chaostle Insert Details
For this design, we kept the original plastic insert in the large base game box. It keeps things well organized and can be stood vertically without components shuffling around. Below are pictures of the insert we built to house the rest of the componenets in the Melee Expansion box. We built 2 card draw boxes for the expansion card decks. Half of the character boards are stored in the base game box and half are stored in the expansion box. Also seen here is a set of matching dice for each player's color (1d10 and 1d6), because we like to all have our own, and we can, so there.
